Home Schooled, Self Employed, Open Day.

Hello from Bedford Guitar Teacher!

There’s quite a few things happening here at Bedford Guitar Teacher and, I’d like to take this chance to tell you about it.

Open day

There’s an open day happening on the last Sunday of this month, which is the 27th from 13:00 until 1600. It’s an occasional event where you’ll be given a chance to meet me, say hello and talk about either the classical, electric or acoustic guitar.

It’s a half hour introductory lesson, which happens on the hour or every half hour between 13:00 & 16:00 and this event is free.

The times that are available at the moment, are as follows:

    • 13:30
    • 15:00
    • 15:30

This isn’t a regular event and at any other time, you’ll be charged £20 for an introductory lesson. So come along and grab yourself a bargain, come and say hello and have a chat about guitars & music. Above times may not be available upon enquiring, so please ask via the contact page

Are you interested in learning the guitar?

Are you self employed or a parent who’s homeschooling a child, or work from home? Bedford Guitar Teacher is now taking on students during the day time. Lessons can be based upon the Rock School or ABSRM’s classical / Trinity Guildhall’s classical & Rock & Pop syllabus, which provides a clear learning structure and a sense of progression, whether your a youngster or an adult.

Home Schooled, Music Lessons, Bedford.

When you’re teaching a child from home and your child is interested in Music, you’re probably considering a home/private tutor.

Here at Bedford Guitar Tutor, practical and theory lessons are available which allows your child to progress through the grades and achieve a national and internationally recognised qualification with Rock School, Trinity Guildhall, or ABRSM. Alternatively, I can teach without the assistance of the graded pieces/theory exams.

Self Employed & Looking for guitar lessons?

If you’re self-employed, it can be tricky to find teachers that are available to suit your work hours. If you work from home, you may be available during the day – as is Bedford Guitar Teacher. Please note that Bass lessons, only take place on a Thursday from 17:00 onwards.

UCAS Points

Each of these examining bodies provides certificates with comments to provide proof of accomplishment. Rock School, Trinity-Guildhall, ABRSM, also provides UCAS points should you complete grades 6, 7, & 8.

It’s worth mentioning, that whilst UCAS points are an obvious benefit because you’re earning whilst you’re learning. I can’t stress enough, that you’ll need to spend time working towards this level of guitar. How quickly it will take you, shall depend on how much you practice within the week. Every student learns differently. Practicing shouldn’t be a chore. You should be wanting to put the time and effort into learning an instrument and the theory that goes with it, making you an amazing musician.

I’ve copied and pasted the Examining boards UCAS points for you to have a look at below.
